Memories and Biography

Just a short note to add my support to restoring the Shipdham control tower. I visited the 44th base several years ago and was saddened to see what the runways and control towers looked like. Tony North showed me around.
I remember going on one of the low-level supply missions to Holland. As we flew over an air raid shelter, there were six men with a huge Dutch flag, holding the flag with one hand and waving like crazy to us with the other hand.
Please keep us informed on the tower project and good luck on raising enough to take care of the project.
