Dear Will:

I received your note about sending you some information about myself.

I was assigned to the 506th from November 1, 1944 until the end of the war. I completed 29 missions as a nose gunner (toggler) on the crew of Edwin P. Jarvis, pilot. The rest of the crew, as I can remember, was Louis E. Olscheske, copilot; William H. Rodrian, navigator; Joseph C. Earles, engineer; Jack Stump, radio operator; Robert Davidson, waist gunner; Stanley Wishneff, tail gunner.

The wartime addresses of the above crewmembers are listed in the publication 44th Liberation over Europe.

The only crewmember that I have seen since the war was the pilot, Ed Jarvis, and that was in 1964. He was living in Corona Del Mar at the time.

As to myself, I am 63 years old and retired in 1980 after 26 years with the California Highway Patrol.

I am sorry I was unable to attend the reunion at Riverside. Hope to be able to attend other reunions.

Feel free to contact me in the future if you need further information or assistance in the northern California area.

Thank you for your inquiry.
