Dear Will:

Henry Fishbone was kind enough to send me a copy of your letter of 2 December 1986 addressed to him. He is the only member of our crew to have kept in touch with me. His delightful wife, Shirley, is no doubt responsible for that.

I appreciate the effort you are making to keep alive the history of the 67th Squadron.

I have two very small scars on my left hand as souvenirs of the 200th mission party to which you alluded. Took me over 40 years after that to realize that I am alcoholic. I thank God every day that He has protected me despite all I could do to destroy myself.

If there is a mailing list of the 67th and/or the 44th Bomb Group, I would like to be on it.

Thank you very much.

John Beavers
