Dear Will:

I am one of the missing from Liberators over Europe.

Following is a brief resume of my service with the 44th Bomb Group.

I entered the service: 6 January 1942.
Basic Training: Sheppard Field, Texas
Training: A&E School. Sheppard Field, Texas. Graduated June 1942
B-24 School, San Diego, California
Assigned to: 66th Bomb Squadron, 44th Bomb Group July 1942, Barksdale Field, LA. Moved with Squadron to Oklahoma City and to England (September 1942).
Returned to U.S.: June 2, 1945.
Assigned to: Ground crew as A&E mechanic.
Rank: Sergeant.
